    of John Kettle's field very near the river. The man was Pat Kettle Killaree. The mother and dauther spun the wool and Pat wove it. Sometimes they spun flax and wove it into linen. When the linen was woven it was sent to Boyl's green and they bleacked it white and they call it the bleach green where they kick football now. Before flax was spun it was made straight with hackles. The man who made the hackles was McDonnall who lived in Bough.
    Noggins were just as useful as mugs or porringers are now. They are shaped like a we can with a hoop on it. The man who made them was McDonnall from Cohawa school.
