  1. One time long ago two men from my townland were in Kells late at night.
On their way home they passed near a fort and in the bright moon light, they saw two little old men sitting on a big stone at the opening in the ditch.
One of the Quilca Men caught a little man by the neck and asked for a pot of gold.
The wee fellow said ‘Yes: Yes: But look what the moon is doing”.
The country man looked up and the little men disappeared.
