  1. One day I was passing a fort in Palmyra near my house when the rain was threatening and the wind was howling like a bean-sidhe, and I heard a voice calling.
I looked back but I could see nothing so I went on again.
Again I heard a second call but I kept on my path through the soft fields.
When I heard a third call, I turned back though I was very nervous.
As I came near the fort I saw an old white cow of Peter Larry's bawling to get home out of the rain.
It was she was calling me.
On another evening I was going home with my brother Phelem Lynch[?] and we both saw a great light around the fort. It moved to the road and went away in the distance.
