    door on it. The bellows is much the same as an ordinary one only it is much bigger. There is a handle on it for pumping. The implements the smith uses are the tongs, anvil sledge, chisel, punch, pincers rasp. The make harrows, gates, barrows and other such articles. Mr. Brien shoes cart wheel. At the Roll Bridge there is a big stone, circular in shape for shoeing wheels. There is a hole in the middle of it for the box of the wheel. It is a long time since it was used.

  2. Mr Connell of Knightstown has a forge at his mill for his own private use. He shoes his own horses and repairs his farm implements. This forge is equipped with a large anvil and forge bellows, a tongs, rasp, pincers, knife and hammer. It is a most amusing place for children to call in to see the sparks flying from the
