Once a crew of men from Cahirkeem went to the strand to go seining. Some of the crew were afraid to go seining but the others were anxious to go out. At last they agreed to go out and they were not long out when they saw a shoal of fish and they shot on it and killed it. So one of the men said in Irish,
"tá an méid sin againn anois gan buidheachas do Pártholán. " With these words a storm arose and all the men that were in the boat with him got drowned.
