    Sheeps saffron was gathered from the fields & boiled in milk and given to the patient was supposed to be a certain cure for the "measles"
    The blood from the offspring of a Cahill father & a Cahill mother that is the father must be a Cahill & the mother must be a Cahill will cure a disease called "St Anthony's Fire (probably shingles) when the patient was brought to the Cahill person (man or woman) Cahill put a twine around his finger & bled the finger & then put the blood around the "sore". This was done & the sore cured.
    The juice from the dock root was supposed to cure nettle stings.
    Blue is used for the sting of a wasp or bee.
    The plaintain (slánlus) is used for stopping bleeding, especially the bleeding from a cut leg, hand or finger.
