  1. As I was coming up the road this evening I met a man on horseback and he had a woman behind him riding pillion fashion. "Goodnight" said he to me "Goodnight to yourself and your wife" said I "She's not my wife" said he "nor ever intends to be." My father got her father. How near is she to me?
    Answer = He was her father.
    Three people were standing outside a chapel gate. They were three brothers. There was a graveyard attached to the chapel. One said "I must go in & say a prayer for my brother's child" He went in said the prayer and came out. Then the second brother said "I must go in & say a prayer for my brother's child & he went in & said the prayer & then came out. Then the third brother said "I wont go in to say a prayer for I have no brother's child buried there. How was that?
    Answer: The third brother was the father of the child.
