    though it takes some time to tell this it was all done in the space of a few seconds. Then Redmond went off to his wife and family and was well contented with his night's work. It happened however that Maddock himself was only wounded and of course he put the law on Redmond. Redmond was brought to court and of course he was found guilty and sentenced to be hanged on a certain day. The day came and he was up on the scaffold, and he was asked had he anything to say before he died and he was also asked was he sorry for the work he had done. "Well" says he "You all ask me am I sorry for what I have done. I say here that I am not a bit sorry for it I'm only sorry for the wan thing and that is that I didn't finish Maddock, but let me out
