  1. The tramps that occassionally visit our house are they O'Rrourks, the Dohertees, the Boyles and othes that come very seldom about once each year. Most of these tramps come from Ardara and always travel on foot because their journey is short. The others that come from far away come on vans and carts but they carry with them their camps to stay here for a while.
    Those tramps from this locality do not take food for themselves but depend on the other people to give them alms. These people give alms such as bread, eggs, flower, and meal and oft times give them coppers. These (traps) tramps give tins, lace, brushes, and other articles which they
