  1. 1. Long ago all marriages were held in the evening. The Bride and Groom would walk down the road first and a twenty couples followed them. Then they would go down to the Church and get married. After the marriage they would go down to a public house.
    Then they would get a fiddler and they would dance and drink until mid-night. At mid-night they would go home and have a dance until eight o'clock in the morning.
