  1. Once upon a time there lived in the parish of Inver a girl called Grace Cariban. One night she went outside her own house. All at once she was lifted away to the river Eaney. She had to jump backwards and forwards right over a great waterfall. When she would jump the waterfall the fairies would (should) shout, "Well leapt Grace", "Well leapt Grace". She was kept all night jumping and in the morning at her own door.
