  1. On the summit of John Breslin's hill in the townland of Mullan-More there is a mass rock. In ancient times when large sums of money were given for a priest's head this rock served as an altor.
    Furas e ó Bridgid Molloy.
    In the parish of Ardara there is still to be seen traces of a priest hunt. The chase continued as far as Cro-na- Cleire and there the priest was murdered. The frightened horse which the priest rode ran to Cashel and was killed there.
