Once upon a time two men were coming from Ennis and the day was very wet and they had a horse and car. They were not far out from the town when they met a woman and they asked her where she was going and she said that she was going to Knockerra and they gave her a riding as far as Kilmurry and she thanked them and went away and they went home too. After a few months they were coming from Kilrush on a very wet evening and they met her on the road and she brought them into a house and gave them a good supper and they went to bed and when they woke in the morning there was know house or cabin there but they did not get a bit wet and the horse was tied a bush along-side them.
