\long ago a lot of commercial travellers went round from house to house with goods to sell to people. One party of them sold tea which they carried in tin trunks on a horse and trap. These tea men were very much disliked by people as their tea was bad and they were very hard to drive from the house
Mrs Payne our school teacher tells me that she heard a true story about a tea-man, this is it; One day a tea man went into a woman's house ans she was very busy with the dinner. he tried to persuade her to take tea from him but she would not, and so he went out very nicely and as he was going(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
