    it was the eight and more said it was the ninth of March so to settle the dispute they joined the two together and made the seventeenth of it.
    Jenny church or better know as Kilshine is over near Mountainstown. St Jenny is supposed to have a monastry and a church there. I dont think there is any trace of the monastry in it now.
    Kilshine is the Irish for Jenny's church.
    It is a Protestant church for a good many years now.

  2. The patron saint of Castletown is Saint Patrick. He built no church or monastry in this district. I dont think he worked any miracles either. There is a well near the Protestant church in one of Mr James McKeevers. It is called Saint patrick's well.
    Some years ago a Protestant minister named Longfield, washed his dogs in this well
