    were searching everywhere for him. They were looking everyplace for about a week, but he was nowhere to be seen and they then thought he never again would be seen. They could see his tracks from his home to about a quarter of a mile away, as there was a deep coat of snow on the ground at the time. His tracks ended there and again appeared about a mile away, and then again ended.
    The people of the district gathered and were having a wake. While the wake was in progress up to midnight a knock came to the door and a man walked in, went down to the bedroom and in to the bed. Everyperson in the house fled. Some of the old people say that it was Pat that came back.
