  1. There are no tailors in this district, but there are four or five in the local town, which is Ballymote. They do not travel from house to house. They work in their homes.
    The tailor usually make clothes from tweed or serge. He does not stock cloth. Now adays there is no cloth spun or woven in this district.
    The tailor uses a large amount of implements for making garments. He has to have a sewing-machine, a sissors, a tape measure, and many other things.
    Shirts are seldom made in the homes of the district now adays.
