    1. Long ago there was a time in the year for marriage. It was from the 6th of January till ash Wednesday and it was called the "Ranting season".
    It is said that the 13th of every month is an unlucky day for marriage. It is also said that Monday is for health, Tuesday for wealth, Wednesday (for) best day of all, Thursday for losses, Friday for crosses and Saturday no day at all.
