    Once upon a time a farmer lived in the parish of Newmarket-on-Fergus.

    the floor ,and let out one big black man.The servant man looked out at him,and spoke to him and the black man only grinned at him.The servant man felt about a ton weight on him all the night until the cock crew. Then the four men returned and took the black man away again.
    The servant man then said."I will best you tomorrow night "When the farmer came to the kitchen on the following morning he asked the servant man how did he rest during the night.
    The servant man said "very badly"The servant man went to bed early next night .he had planks across the bed and a chain tied to the planks.So when the blackman came in he jumped on top of the bed ,and the servant man tied him to the planks .
    When it was nearly morning the black man said "Let me go"The servant mansaid "I will not".The black man said "Let me go and I will tell you where there is a crock of gold"
