    All the little ones stoop down when singing the last line, but the last one to get down is expelled from the game.
    Skittles is another old favorite with young and old, but particularly with boys. In the Summer months the game is to be seen played at almost every crossroads, where young lads congregate to spend their evenings.
    To play this game five sticks about six inches long are required. These sticks which are about two inches in diameter are placed standing on the road in a square about four feet apart. These sticks are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, and so respectively. Number 10 is placed in the centre of the square, and is called the King.
    The players stand a certain number of yards from the sticks, and with these sticks 1 1/2 ft. long try to knock down as many as possible, using one stick each time. Accounts are kept of the
