Jemmie was the Sergeant stationed in Grousehall Barracks at that time and these barracks are about 3 miles from Bailieboro'The Servant.

To plough the rocks of Bawn.Sweeney was a very good servant. This man he was with was a very poor type of farmer. Wooden ploughs were used in those days and therefore ploughing was very laborious work. The above verse was the manner in which the farmer addressed his servant in the morning.
