    Proverbs
He buys honey dear who licks it off thorns.
He that has but one eye sees the better for it.
Hard upon hard makes a bad stone wall. But soft upon soft makes none at all.
He sups ill who eats all the dinner.
Half a leap is a fall into the ditch.
Sin is sin though it is not sun.
    As stubborn as a mule.
Fools make feasts and wise men eat them.
As sweet as honey, as bitter as gall.
    As cross as the cats.
Good nature is pleasanter then wit.
