- Kilcashel graveyard a few miles from here. A grave was dug one day in this graveyard. There was a path through beside this grave. There was a man who went this path on his way home every night: a trickster thought he would frighten him. He got down in the grave and when the man was passing, he began moaning and crying "I am dying with the cold". the man was not a bit frightened but he said "Why wouldn't you be cold and nothing over you" and at the same time he threw a few shovelfuls of clay in on the trickster.
