  1. Johnny Doran's Ball
Have you heard of Johnny Doran
    In the cottage at Lugduff
One Sunday night to our delight
To a fancy ball we took.
There were Kennys from the Togher
    And Crows from Garryhoe
    Along with Michael Hennessy
    And Maisie Byrne a stór.
There were some of them there neighbours
And more from out the town
Who came that night to Doran's ball
    And paid their half-a-crown.
Mick Kenny he stood at the door
    To welcome all hands in
    And introducing started
    And the dancing did begin.
There were Civic Guards and engine men
    All ready for the floow
    Along with Jimmy Hennessy
    And Eileen Byrne a stór.
