  1. There is a field on the main road called Áwnéen. It got its name because it is surrounded by a blackthorn hedge.
    We have a small little field called the goose-park. Formerly over one hundred geese used to be reared on it. Sometimes it is called the island as it is all surrounded by water.
    There is a field on our land called the Crocáin. It is supposed to have got its name, because it is a very crooked field.
