  1. A catapult is another toy made by boys but this is a very dangerous toy.
    First they get a forky stick and, in the two pieces which branch off from the stem, they put a split. They put a piece of rubber in the split, and this they tie very firmly with twine.
    Now they get a twine and tie the two pieces of rubber together with a piece of leather. They use this catapult for firing stones. When they are firing them they hold the stick in their right hand, away from themselves. They hold the leather in the
