  1. From Sonna chapel, to Clark's Crossroads, a quarter of a mile from Slanemore Post Office was the public road long ago and that was the way all the people from that place used to travel. The Tuites of Sonna changed it over to where the Slanebeg road is now. There is a bit of a wall there yet where the people used to get out.
    From the high ditch near Sonna chapel to Dowds of Sonna there was another old road long ago, but now it is closed up, and another one made, no one ever travels on the old one.
