  1. When the robin is in the hedge it is the sign of snow.
    When the moon comes in dry the first quarter will be dry.
    When you hear the train coming a long distance away it is a sign of rain.
    If the sun rises red in the morning it is a sign of rain.
    When it is raining and the clouds begin to open out in the sky it is a sure sign that it will clear, but when it is raining and the clouds begin to close in in the sky it is a sure sign that it will not clear.
    When you can see the man real plain in the moon its a sign of good weather, but when the moon is clouded there will be bad weather.
    When you see the stars falling its a sign of rain.
    When the wind is coming from the South it will bring rain.
    When you see wild geese it is a sign of a storm.
    When you see crows + starlings together in a field it is a sign of a high wind.
    When you see the cattle eating real early in the morning it is a sign of a wet day.
    If the hens pick their feathers it is a sign of rain.
    When a robin flies into a house there will be a storm.
    If the circle round the moon is far away the rain is far away, but the nearer the circle the nearer the rain.
