  1. There is a farm near Tullylease, called Lynche's farm. The men were digging there one day. They saw a pit and there were black stones in the bottom of it, where Fionn used to fry his meat. There is a rock in Kileedy. Déarmuid’s Rock it is called. Dearmuid used to sleep on it and there is the impression of a man on it. One day a giant came to attack Dearmuid, but Diarmuid beat him and when he was fleeing away Diarmuid caught up a huge sod and threw it at the giant. Where it landed it made a high hill called Knockferna.
