  1. There was an old School in Knocktoosh, in the place where Jerry Corkery is living now. It was a thatched mud-walled school. One day about the year 1886. Jeremiah Daly was coming home from the bog. He looked in the window, and saw the old teacher of that school writing at the desk. He was buried about two years, when this happened.
