It is called that name because there used to be a crowd always hurling in Glen.
There is a Glen about two miles from Dromcollogher and it is called Gleann na gCapall. It is called that place because a girl drank wine out of a chalice that was on the altar and came out in the form of a horse. She was made plough the hill very deeply for drinking the wine.
