  1. There are many old churchyards in this district, namely, Kanturk, Kilroe, Kilcorcoran, Killmacow, Kilbrin, Killmeen and Clonmeen.
    All these churchyards are still used and in some of them there are ruins of old churches, namely Kilcorcoran, Kilbrin, and Clonmeen. Killmacow graveyard is shaped liked a harp.
    Some of these slope to the south. There are also a number of trees growing around some graves and planted around the graveyard.
    There are many ornamented crosses and monuments in them some of them are very old and are usually made of iron.
    None of them are disused. Some families still use certain
