    Dananns built there when they were defeated by the Firbolgs at the battle of Southern Moytura. After beind defeated in that battle they decided to build houses and raths and beautiful green hills and those people who made their dwellings under the ground are called since that time as Sidhe or Fairies and in later days these places are called forts.
