  1. (continued from previous page)
married couple return to the bride's former home where the marriage feast is held. A dance is held after breakfast and sports and other games are continued all day and for a part of the night.
In my district "Straw-boys" visit the house. These are usually clothes in straw with masks on their faces. They take the Bride in turns for a dance.
They usually bring instruments of their own. Being supplied with refreshments they leave the house and go home. Their behaviour is always most amusing, they sing, dance and play and no one in the house is acquainted with them.
The newly-married couple go on a honey-moon for three weeks or a month and when they return home they are always quite happy.
