  1. This Townland is situated to west of the parish of Johnswell. There is no sign of the old monastery in the place. Up to a few years ago there were some mounds in a corner of the field but these were ploughed up and the field is quite level. There are no remains of a graveyard.

  2. This Townland is situated to the south of Johnswell. There are no remains of the ruins, but beside the place where the monastery stood there is an old road now overgrown with bushes and trees and briars. Up to a few years ago remains of a paved road done by the monks could be seen in part of the main road to Kilkenny. The road was since steamrolled. When putting a floor in a dwelling house some years ago.
