Once upon a time there lived two Giants in Cantwellscourt. One of them was called Clug and the other Crug. They used to go around every night robbing and eating all belong to the neighbours and sleep during the day. One day all the people went to the King who lived in Rathcoole and asked if he would gather his army to kill them. The King said he would and after a week he was ready to fight. They fought hard for two days but the two Giants won and then they ate all the people. About half a mile away from the Giants' house there was a cottage and a little boy and his mother lived in it. The boy was called Tom the Giant-killer(continues on next page)
