Once upon a time there lived a family named Byrnes. They lived at Paulstown. Every night when it would come to nine o'clock everyone in the house would have to be gone out of the kitchen. When nine o'clock came a ghost began throwing something which the people could not see, and they could not see who was throwing. The Byrnes were so tormented that they left the house, and one night not long after a man named Billy Dunne was passing the house, and he saw two grey hounds drawing a little car and going towards the house. The moment Billy looked at them they vanished and he saw no more of them.
