One night a man was going for a ramble. He went astray and where did he go only into Gaulstown rath. He met with a little man very busy cutting sticks. The two of them had a chat for a long time. The little man brought him off to another rath in Damerstown and he did not feel until he was landed there. The little man brought the poor man from one rath to the other until he was worn out. Only he got a drink of water at the Majors well he would never be able to come home on that night.
