  1. One moonlight night a man was coming home from town. He was drunk and he was alone. When he came up to where Jim Woods house was he heard some noise. He looked into the ditch and he saw a fairy. He stole over to where the fairy was and he caught him by the shoulders. He asked him for the crock of gold. The fairy said it was under a tree in his own field. The man went home and he dug under the tree. He found the crock of gold and he was rich for the rest of his life.
