    At that time people went to the smiths to get their teeth pulled. In that was supposed to be the charm.
    The smiths were always looked upon as very strong. The forge was always noted for being the centre of story-telling, news, and gossip of all sort. Every news came from the forge at first. There are no old or disused forges in the parish at the present time.
