night. John said it was not bad. The farmer let him out for the day, and put him in again in the evening. It was the same that night as the night before. But the third night was different when the coffin came down it danced about the barn and poor John was nearly killed. He caught the coffin and opened it and out jumped a big black man. He told John that he was the farmers father and that he killed him. He told him to tell the farmer to say one mass for him. John told him and after that the coffin was never seen. John got his money, and lived happy ever after.
