    price he would give him. The little man said he would give him a magic bottle. At first he would not take the bottle but the little man kept taunting him, and at last the farmer took the bottle and gave the little man the cow. The dwarf told him to go home and tell his wife to sweep the floor, spread a clean cloth on the table and say "bottle do your duty." The farmer went home left the bottle on the table and said the words. After a while two little fairies jumped out of the bottle and filled the table with dishes and plates of gold and the richest food.
    They became richer and richer every day, but the farmer was careful never to tell his secret to anyone. The landlord asked the farmer how he became so rich and at last he told him the sevret. The landlord
