    rough and there was snow on the ground. All the boys came with fur caps overtheir ears and heavy coats and warm gloves and big boots, but poor littly Woff had no warm clothes. He came shivering in a thin coat and coarse stockings full of holes and a pair of wooden shoes. Some of the boys made fun about his sad look and worn out clothes. The boys then started to talk of toys, christmas trees and many other things that they were shure to have the next day. Little Woff knew his old aunt would send him to bed without any supper.
    When the singing was over all the people started for hom. As Woff passed through the door of the hall he saw a child asleep in the snow. The child was thinly clad and he had no shoes on his feet. Woff took pity on the child. He did not stand
