    When they asked the butter she refused them. They left the house and went their way until they reached a well.
    One of the men went over to the well and stirred the well water. When the other man looked he saw the top of the well covered with butter. It was believed they took the butter off the woman's churn.
    Buttermilk also is used also in various ways.
