When a boy would be away for a day the next day he would go Mr. Mahoney would catch him by the ear and ask him "Where were you yesterday? Where are you now?    Its so hard to find anyone now to give description of a hedge school master that we must fall back hearsay. Because of bigots on religion the school had to be held in secret at one hedge or cave to-day and at a different place to-morrow. Let us come about a generation [?] to home and find people who remember some very rare schoolmaster. We introduce a Mr. O'Sullivan of Athea a first class teacher. He made a bold bit for the obolition of the potato blight and he argued that wire put all around the potato garden would keep away the blight. But the Department of Agreculture quashed, the idea which saved old Mr. O'Sullivan from a lunatic asylum. We will take Mr. Keane and an old teacher at Knockanure. He was very
