If a person has a pain in his ear, it is said if he applies a poultice of a roasted onion to it, it is supposed to cure the pain.

A very strange cure for boils is a poultice of turpentine, soap and sugar.

If a person suffering from cramps gets a piece of copper wire and ties it around the place where he suffers from them, it it said he will be cured before nine days.

If a person suffering from teeth-ache drinks (hot) cold tea without any milk in it, it is
