   Superstition It is said by the old people that if you meet a red haired woman on your way to the fair that you turn back. If you see a magpie on the road before you you will have bad luck. If you see a wisp on a hen's leg that it is good luck. When a spoon falls on the floor it is a sign that you will have strangers. It is said that if you put on your stockings inside out you will have good luck. It is said that it is not right to go
