    The most harmful weeds growing near my house are the thistle, pressaugh dandelion, scuth grass butterdock, horse radish, nettle and groundsel. They are harmful because they spread rapidly and because they also impoverish the land. Weeds will grow in any kind of land but they generally grow in good soil.
    The herbs that have medicinal properties are groundsel and wild celery. The groundsel is made by mixing it with oatmeal and then to boil it and the cure is made. This cure is used as a poultice.
    Another cure is to get wild celery and boil it with porter. Then take it up and strain it and leave it corked up in a bottle/. This is the cure for anyone with bad blood. To cure this disease people drink the liquid of the boiled celery.
