- A Funny Story.
Once upon a timethere lived two brothers in Swords whose parents were dead. One was a sensible young man and the other seemed to be simple. One Sunday the sensible man went to the church and left the other brother to get ready the dinner. They had a pig's cheek and turnips for their dinner. When the brother was taking the lid off the pot he saw one of the turnips in the pig's mouth. Then he ran to the church door and shouted to the other brother to come home quickly that the pig's cheek was eating all the turnips.
