    bad weather is approaching.
    When you notice a ring around the moon it is the sign of bad weather.
    If the stars begin to fall it is the sign we are near rain.
    When we have heavy black clouds it is the sign of rain or very stormy weather.
    A rainbow in the morning is for bad weather and a rainbow in the evening is for good weather.
    Wind blowing from the north or east heavy rain brings it down.
    The south wind brings most rain to my district.
    If we hear the Tallow bell from the west it is also a bad sign of the weather.
    When the crows are flying low it is the sign of a storm.
    When the curlews are heard whistling it is the sign of rain.
    The seagulls bring the rain too.
    When the cat and dog turn their backs to the fire bad weather is coming.
    The goats and sheep run to a sheltry part of the ditch when the rain is approaching.
    If the hills look near this is the sign of rain.
    When the dust on the road is flying in a sighe-gaoithe it is the sign we are near rain.
    When a lot of ants collect together on the road it is the sign of rain.
